FRESH... When it's real food it just tastes better. From our dough to our produce, it just has to be fresh. We prepare our dough every day from six simple ingredients: All Natural Flour, Water, Yeast, Salt, Sugar and Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Our Green Peppers, Banana Peppers, Roma Tomatoes, Pineapples and much more are cut and prepared daily. Heck, we love our Red Onions so much, we shed a tear for them each day! Which leads to...
NATURAL... We take extreme pride in the QUALITY of our products. We have been committed since day one to providing ALL-NATURAL ingredients. We know how important the health of your family is to you… because we feel the same way about our family. We are extremely proud of our ALL-NATURAL dough, tomato-basil sauce, alfredo, basil-pesto, salad dressings, sausage, pepperoni and salami. Moreover, our chicken and cheese are certified NEVER WITH ANTIBIOTICS!
LOCAL... When in season, it comes from South Carolina. We have some tremendous farms in South Carolina. Their produce is the best. Thank you farmers! It doesn't stop with our food though. We have committed to being a part of the solution when it comes to community improvement. Whether it's a fundraiser for one of the four elementary schools nearby, sponsorship with Lexington High School, supporting Cats Kick Cancer, Male and Female youth sports sponsorship, or any of the many other events, we feel it is crucial that what we support helps bolster our community. There couldn't possibly be more?? Well there is... we are a locally owned family business, so we do everything we can to support other local businesses. Our uniforms, A/V resources, and cleaning services are all provided by local family businesses.
OUR STORY... Knead Pizza was founded by Ian and Kassie Walls in June 2014. Prior to that, Ian and Kassie came to the midlands in 2005 with the Air Force. At first this was only supposed to be a three-year assignment. Obviously that plan didn't stick. They fell in love with South Carolina. Their family started to grow and they felt like South Carolina was the place to raise a family. So, after a trip to Afghanistan, in order to stay in SC and continue serving, Ian transitioned from active duty to the reserves. After moving to Lexington in 2011, Ian and Kassie became frustrated with the lack of local, all natural, clean food options. From that frustration grew a solution... Knead Pizza.
